DIY Salah Chart

Salah is one of the pillars of Islam, a form of worship we are to begin practicing at the age of seven. To make tracking salah motivating for kids, here is a fun Do It Yourself (DIY) craft….. A Salah Chart! This craft can be done at home, school, a kids halaqa, Taraweeh Club meeting, or a Salah Party!

Here is what you will need:

  • Salah Chart Craft Printable
  • Colored paper (at least 3 different colors)
  • A poster board, cut in half
  • 10 clothes pins
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Optional items for decoration, such as stickers and glitter

  1. Print each section of the Salah Chart Craft on different colored paper:
    1. Salah Names
    2. Sunnah prayers
    3. Salah Chart Title
    4. Another option is to divide the prayers into the ones where we recite (1) out loud and (2) quietly and print them on 2 different colors.
  2. Cut out the title, each salah name, and sunnah prayers
  3. Glue them in order
  4. Decorate
  5. Optional:
    1. Hole Punch and let it hang from a ribbon
    2. Write the child’s names on the clothes pins. This is especially helpful if more than one child is using the chart.
    3. Laminate for durability

Have fun! May Allah make us from those who pray our salah on time!
