Imagine putting a bubble of protection around yourself, your child, or your family. This super awesome bubble is the Morning Athkar (Remembrance).
Praying Fajer on time, reading Qur’an, and reciting the Morning Athkar are the KEYS to starting your day right.
To make morning athkar a habit, all you need to do is invest 5 to 10 minutes a day.
Start small by doing one at a time, then add a new one every week or every two weeks. Spend time breaking down the meaning and explaining to your child what each athkar means. This makes it more meaningful when a child is reciting it because they understand what they are saying. You can even make simple gestures for various parts to remember what it mean. (Example: “Basari” means my sight, a gesture to use would be to point to the eyes.)
With daily repetition your child will memorize these quickly, Inshallah.
This is a GOLDEN habit to start with your children or students. Teach them to start their day remembering Allah SWT. Truly an amazing investment.
