Eid Al-Adha is a time we are reminded of the story of Prophet Ibrahem (AS) and his willingness to sacrifice his son for the sake of Allah. Muslims are encouraged to sacrifice an animal for Eid Al Adha and give a portion of the meat to the less fortunate.

If you have the means, it is highly encouraged to sacrifice an animal on Eid. The reward is great, and the amount of joy you can bring to other families is immeasurable!

This is also a good time to reflect on how difficult it would be for us to “sacrifice” any of our material possessions. What would be difficult for us to let go of? What has a strong hold on our heart?
May Allah make us from those whose hearts are attached to Him, and may He protect us from making His creation the object of our worship or unhealthy attachment. May Allah make us a source of goodness for others, and facilitate for us to offer Qurbani/Udhiyah this Eid Al Adha🤲🤲
